Ina Drakfors, who competed in the Swedish baking competition "Hela Sverige Bakar 2013", has made these wonderful red candied almonds.
Ingredients:
200 g. almonds
3 dl. powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 dl. water
Red food coloring
Put all ingredients into a saucepan on medium heat. Keep stirring the almonds and reduce the heat if the sugar water begins to boil. When the sugar around the almonds begins to form crystals, turn off the heat and let the almonds cool down on a baking sheet. Candied almonds are delicious and easy to make – try it
